The Judges

After you've enjoyed the cupcake post (see below), take a peek at our select judges. I asked our chefs if they would be willing to judge--and a special guest joined them! Now I wonder who will judge the hybrid animals contest…Any suggestions? Let me know!

CUPCAKE WARS!

Our first 25 Days of MCBA contest, based on the book Emma On Thin Icing, inspired students across grades 4-6 to bring in an awesome array of cupcakes today! Entrants used a dazzling assortment of ingredients in their quest to impress judges, please friends and family (someone ate those cupcakes!), and earn points for their classes. Here's a peak at the cupcakes (and what the judges had to say):

Alison's Orange Ginger cupcake, "Best Tasting"

Lexi's Sweet Potato Surprise cupcake, "Most Creative Recipe"

Shire's Van Fluffer Choclapinacakes, "Wildest Ingredients"

Aila's White cupcake, Chocolate frosting, "Most Decadent"

Ms. Ingram and Peter's Dark Chocolate with Peppermint Crunch "Most Holiday"

Kendall's Blue Green Velvet cupcake, "Most Colorful"
